Day Shift Aluminium Welder

BAE Systems is recruiting Aluminium Welders to join our team at the Henderson, WA Shipyard, supporting the Hunter Class Frigate Program manufacturing multiple Masts, Modules and Units.

• Hourly Rate: $53.48 per hour (current EA rate)
• Overtime available during weekdays and weekends
• Tool allowance of $17.50 per week

Based in Henderson, WA, you’ll contribute to the Hunter Class Frigate Program by supporting the construction of aluminium mast structures for the Royal Australian Navy’s next generation of warships. It’s an opportunity to work on advanced technology, develop your skills, and be part of a team delivering capability that matters.

What we are looking for:

• Experience in aluminium MIG welding, including butt and fillet welds
• Ability to read, interpret, and comply with welding procedures and specifications
• Strong commitment to safety, workmanship, and quality
• Relevant welding qualifications are highly desirable

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances.
