Job Title: Weapons Integration Engineer

Salary: £39,316 – £43,323
What you’ll be doing:
- Writing requirements for weapon integration, qualification, interface or testing
- Assessing supplier documents
- Supporting rig, aircraft ground and flight testing
- Producing safety assessments and weapon qualification statements
- Producing weapon qualification statements
- Meeting with customers and suppliers
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience
- Aerospace, Systems or Mechanical engineering competencies
- Experience in technical report writing
Desirable:
- An awareness of System Safety processes and Safety Management activities in a Weapons Integration context
- An understanding of Engineering lifecycle management and system safety

The Weapons Integration team:
The Weapons Integration Team has the vital task of coordinating, managing, and certifying various types of weapons and targeting pods for installation onto Eurofighter Typhoon, PANAVIA Tornado, Hawk, and F-35 aircraft.This team collaborates closely with Customers such as the UK Ministry of Defence (FAST and Weapon Project Teams), Suppliers, Eurofighter, PANAVIA, European Partner Companies, and internal stakeholders at BAE Systems. For individuals passionate about aircraft systems and airborne weapons, this role offers a distinctive chance to gain valuable experience in integration.
