Job Description:

As a Verification & Validation Capability Lead, you will be managing and leading requirement derivation, Interface Control Documents (ICDs) generation, Statement of Work (SoW) generation and modelling of the different Capabilities / Services for the V&V Test Facility for placing onto Suppliers (Typhoon Level 2 standard).

Core duties:

• Managing Suppliers, both internal and external, in the development and costing of Solutions
• Leading the development of the ECRS Mk2 Test Facility Fixed Price Proposal
• Supporting workshops with both internal and external (Customer and Industry) Stakeholders
• Supporting requirement reviews with both internal and external (Customer and Industry) Stakeholders
• Leading Engineering Lifecycle Management (LCM) Design / Phase Reviews for the V&V Test Facility
• Collaborating and developing working relationships with the Typhoon Radar and Avionic areas within the Business
• Managing team delivery against a baselined Schedule
• Leading cross-functional discussions

Essential Skills:

• Degree/HND or equivalent experience in a STEM related discipline
• Senior Systems Engineering experience working across the full engineering lifecycle (LCM)
• Experience of DOORs
• Management/Leadership experience
• Experience of Avionic Test Facilities/familiar with Electronic Warfare (EW) – desirable

The ECRS Mk2 Support Solution Team:

Working in the ECRS Mk2 Support Solution Team / Electronic Warfare Solutions (EWS) is a challenging and rewarding experience that involves working with internal and external Customers and Suppliers within Early Stages of the Engineering Lifecycle.

The ECRS Mk2 Radar Ground Support Solution team are on contract to develop the System Definition for the Future Support Solution for the Royal Air Force (RAF). This includes the generation of a Fixed Price Proposal for a Verification and Validation (V&V) ECRS Mk2 Test Facility.
