Role and Responsibilities

The Production Trade Assistant is responsible for assisting trades in activities related to production within the Osborne Naval Shipyard.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting Trades in a production environment
  • Confined space watching and confined space general work
  • Spotting where required (hot work, EWP etc)
  • General house keeping

About you:

  • Strong safety focus and enhancing the site safety environment.
  • Strong time keeping abilities.
  • Excellent communication.

Clearances

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances.
