Role Description:

Due to growing demand within our Advanced Manufacturing team, we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager – Business Partner to join us. This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone looking to expand their technical capability and deepen their experience within supply chain.

Although this role does not include direct team management, it will require strong influencing, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, as you will work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Core Duties:

• Leads the Supply Chain elements of bids and tenders ensuring robust definition of requirements and supplier contractual terms in line with customer requirements
• Lead supplier negotiations and finalise Supplier Agreements in accordance with set Delegations of Authority
• Responsible for Procurement and Subcontracts within a specific program including reporting on performance, risk delivery and quality against set targets
• Proactively engage with key suppliers to enhance capability and efficiency and support the enterprise engagement of the Partner to Win Program for both Strategic and Critical suppliers

About You

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is desirable.
• Defence industry experience would be highly regarded.
• Previous exposure in the automotive field will be highly regarded.
• Familiarity and experience in the development and negotiation of contracts with key suppliers
• Ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and deliver on commitments.
• Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
• Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
