Job title: Summer Intern Air Information Management and Technology
Location: Warton/Samlesbury (Lancashire). We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 5 days per week.
Salary: £25,900 (pro-rata)
End Date: 10th September 2027

Role description
This role supports the delivery of IM&T projects that provide valuable capabilities to the business and its customers, while developing data-driven solutions to improve performance and decision-making. It involves maintaining and enhancing the design, business, and manufacturing systems that underpin innovative products, as well as working closely with stakeholders to understand and shape IT requirements. The position requires handling a wide range of complex tasks, investigating and resolving issues, and contributing across IT processes, services, and projects. Responsibilities also include planning, scheduling, and monitoring work to ensure objectives, timescales, quality standards, and business requirements are successfully met.
Core duties
• Helping to manage IM&T projects delivering capability to the business and our customers.
• Developing data solutions to enhance business understanding and performance.
• Maintaining and improving design, business and manufacturing systems used to develop our pioneering products.
• Working with our in-house customers to understand and shape their requirements for IT systems.
• Works on a broad range of complex activities, in a variety of contexts. Can investigate, define and resolve complex issues. Assists in other areas of IT process, service and project.
• Plans, schedules and monitors work to meet time and targets in line with processes and quality requirements of IT.

Qualification requirements
As a minimum requirement you’ll need to be on track to obtain, a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in the following subjects: All subjects considered.
