  • Assist in the execution of M&A and divestment transactions, including project coordination, stakeholder management, due diligence and transaction planning.
  • Undertake commercial and financial analysis, including valuations, synergy assessments and transaction modelling.
  • Contribute to the preparation of transaction materials, management presentations, communications and approval documentation.
  • Support integration and separation planning activities in partnership with business stakeholders and external advisers.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, target organisations and external consultants throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Partner with the Head of Strategy, Head of M&A and M&A Manager on strategic initiatives and projects as required.

About You:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business functions and with external advisers.
  • High attention to detail, sound judgement and a proactive, outcomes-focused approach
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, strategy, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, transaction services, or a related field is desired but not essential.
  • Computer literacy, with intermediate knowledge of MS Suite. Familiarity with tools like SharePoint and Oracle is desirable
