PURPOSE OF JOB:

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the Systems Team, working closely with cross-functional design and support teams to ensure a systems-oriented, integrated approach to engineering development and verification. You’ll be responsible for managing system requirements, developing robust architectures, and ensuring compliance with engineering lifecycle processes.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop and manage system and subsystem specifications, interface documents, and MBSE artefacts.
  • Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and techniques.
  • Conduct requirements management, functional analysis, system design, integration, and verification.
  • Perform system-level analyses and ensure designs meet all technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead system testing and integration activities, ensuring traceability and configuration control.
  • Provide technical oversight to suppliers and support internal design reviews.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes.

KEY CRITERIA:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar.
  • Extensive experience in Systems Engineering across the full lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, integration, and verification.
  • Ideally exposure to manufacturing and production systems, robotics, data analytics and cyber security.
  • Strong understanding of MBSE and systems lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Defence security clearance required or the ability to obtain one.
