Job Title: Senior Supply Chain Manager (Infrastructure)

Salary: £81,000+ depending on skills and experiences plus executive level benefits including car allowance

What you’ll be doing:

• Working with the wider business and its external professional teams to develop sourcing and contracting solutions for a 10 year + investment programme in the North West
• Delivering effective management and leadership to the assigned team, creating the environment for the team to succeed
• Provide commercial and supply chain support to the delivery programmes
• Leading the sourcing and contracting procurement process, inclusive of tender pack development, evaluation and award
• Managing Framework Agreements
• Management of internal and external stakeholders to a senior level
• Negotiating and finalising contracts with the external supply chain, providing cost and pricing expertise

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Significant experience working in supply chain for the construction industry
• Detailed knowledge of JCT and NEC Construction contracts
• Significant experience in the development of procurement strategy
• An understanding of business and procurement approaches, techniques, processes, policy and strategy
• Experience of contract and supplier performance management
• Significant experience in management and leadership of a team

Desirable:

• Client side experience
• MCIPS
• Experience in public sector/regulated environments useful

The Procurement Team:

Delivering a once in a generation infrastructure investment into an operational environment, without disruption to ongoing operations. A rapidly growing team to meet the increasing demands of this investment programme. You will be supporting the transformation of the delivery strategy for the category and will persistently drive change and improvement. The role sits within the organisation which interfaces with a central procurement functional team providing over-arching group strategy and multiple local delivery agents.
