Job Title: Senior Project Professional

Location: Barrow-in-Furness or Sheffield, Hybrid – Hybrid working with flexibility around on-site presence

Salary: Circa £50,000

What you’ll be doing:

In this role, you will apply project delivery standards within a structured lifecycle framework, helping ensure contracts are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. You will coordinate contractual activity across teams, govern end-to-end supply chain processes and process orders using systems such as SAP to support contractual performance targets.

You will identify potential schedule risks, assess impacts and implement corrective actions to maintain delivery performance. You will also produce performance reports and metrics, monitor stock against requirements, facilitate cross-functional meetings and represent the organisation at customer reviews, ensuring actions and progress are clearly captured and tracked.

Core duties:

  • You will be able to govern multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery to agreed timescales, quality standards and budget expectations
  • You will have an understanding of project lifecycle navigation and how structured project processes support successful delivery
  • You will have the ability to use IT tools including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and enterprise systems such as SAP
  • You will have experience supporting project risk governance activities and bring knowledge or exposure to bid coordination processes
  • You will demonstrate knowledge of project delivery qualities, processes and supporting systems used to plan and deliver work
  • You will hold, or be working towards, a recognised PM qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, IMA or a relevant degree
