The Hydraulic Power Systems Team:

You will be joining the Flight Systems Department within BAE Systems, working as part of the specialist Hydraulic Power Systems team. The department is responsible for a broad portfolio of critical aircraft systems, spanning mechanical, electrical and fluidic disciplines including fuel systems, electrical power, environmental control and thermal management, crew escape, flying controls, landing gear, propulsion integration and hydraulic power generation and distribution.

The Hydraulic Power Systems team plays a vital role in the design, development, safety assessment and certification of aircraft systems across multiple current and future air sector platforms. Working at the heart of complex, safety-critical engineering programmes, the team is involved throughout the full engineering lifecycle – from early concept and requirements definition through to design development, clearance, certification and in-service support.
