As a Senior Application Configuration Engineer, you will uphold and evolve PLM/CAD quality standards, ensuring alignment with changing business needs. You will provide expert frontline support to maximise tool adoption, deliver efficiency improvements for CAD users and assess new PLM/CAD capabilities against current and future processes. You will support the rollout of new applications with correct configuration, drive continuous process innovation by challenging legacy assumptions and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for application operations and administration.

Core duties:

  • You will co-ordinate reactive support and proactive initiatives across Business Wide PLM and CAD tools
  • You will ensure user adherence to all process and data governance practices
  • Act as a key PLM-CAD user, offering guidance and support
  • You will be responsible for driving improvements to PLM‑CAD deployment and user experience aligned with business needs
  • You will be contributing to delivering PLM‑CAD capability enhancements within the NXGen Digital programme

Essential Skills:

  • You will need to hold relevant experience and knowledge within a complex engineering or manufacturing environment
  • You will be required to have a solid understanding of the data model underpinning supported PLM-CAD tools
  • You will need to have strong stakeholder management and analytical problem-solving abilities

The Team:

You’ll play a key role in the expanding of our NXGen Digital programme, providing expert frontline PLM‑CAD support to enable full user adoption. You’ll guide stakeholders, resolve issues and help maximise the value these applications deliver across the organisation. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria
