Role Description:

As the Project Manager – Platform Supply Chain, you will lead the delivery of critical Supply Chain activities within the Hunter Class Frigate Program. Working closely with key stakeholders, project teams, subcontractors and consultants, you will drive successful project outcomes while managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks and opportunities that arise. This role is key to ensuring efficient project execution and delivering value to our customer.

Core Duties:

  • Support Control Account Manager Leads (CAMs), in ensuring that project plans are executed in accordance with agreed budgets and timelines, using appropriate tools to track progress and analyse project performance.
  • Lead and coordinate Supply Chain project activities to deliver critical milestones within the Hunter Class Frigate Program.
  • Drive project planning, scheduling and performance reporting to ensure delivery against cost, schedule and quality objectives.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, suppliers and key stakeholders to manage complex project deliverables and dependencies.
  • Proactively manage project risks, issues and change activities to support successful program outcomes.
  • Monitor supplier and contract performance, ensuring delivery commitments are achieved.
  • Coordinate resources and cross-functional teams to support project execution across multiple workstreams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project and supply chain performance.

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrated Project Management experience within a complex engineering, manufacturing, defence, maritime, infrastructure or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management fundamentals, including schedules, baselines, cost/value management, risk management and change control.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence outcomes across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience monitoring project performance and driving delivery against schedule, cost and quality targets.
  • Highly developed problem-solving, planning and organisational skills.
  • Previous Supply Chain, procurement or logistics project experience will be highly regarded.
  • Defence industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an NV1 Defence Security Clearance
