Project Manager – Capability Pathways

Job Location: Time will be spent at both our Adelaide CBD and Port Adelaide Offices in South Australia – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, such as hybrid, flexibility and 9-day fortnight.

Role Description:

Working with our Senior Project Manager – Capability Pathways, your contribution will be to effectively engage with key program stakeholders to identify what capability (across people, process, tools, data, etc.) is required and by when, to provide a capability demand signal and a level of prioritisation to capability development.

Additionally, the successful incumbent will work with program to ensure capability development plans exist, are being executed and progressed in line with program requirements and key milestones.

This role will require the application of Project Management principles to achieve desired outcomes within the cost, schedule and quality constraints while managing key deliverables.

Core Duties:

  • Support the delivery and establishment of capability in line with agreed program objectives
  • Facilitate capability assessments, capability readiness reviews and capability demonstration/ assurance activities
  • Support the Program Capability Steering Group (PCSG) Forums as required
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enable dashboard capability readiness and maturity reporting and insights
  • Provide Capability Pathway updates to the Contract Status Review (CSR) and Monthly Program Review (MPR)
  • Support the development of the program’s capability realisation plan and ongoing updates to the plan
  • Liaise with the technology transfer team regarding program capability requirements and priorities

About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management (desirable)
  • Previous experience in a capability development/ management role
  • Previous experience in supporting product development and manufacturing delivery activities would be advantageous
  • Experience in conducting program level meetings and reviews
  • Proven influencer and communicator with stakeholders at all levels, including leadership and the customer community
  • Listens carefully, joins the dots, and captures what actually matters
  • Computer literacy, with intermediate knowledge of MS Suite. Familiarity with tools like SharePoint and Oracle is desirable
  • Ability to hold and maintain Defence Security Clearance
  • International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role
