About the OPPORTUNITY

We currently have an opportunity for a Project Controller, ideally based at our Melbourne Central Offices, however we would consider strong candidates from South Australia. The Project Controller is responsible for operating a Project Controls System (PCS), to the WPS Facilities Investment Program Manager and PMO Lead – Facilities Investment, monitor and report on project costs, schedule progress and risk status.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Run Cost and Commitment Reports in Oracle.
  • Establish and Maintain Cost Codes in Oracle.
  • Assist in Maintaining the Property Asset (Built Environment) & Facilities Investment Plan (IPAFIP).
  • Archive WPS Monthly Reports.
  • Initiate WPS Monthly Reporting for new Projects, inclusive of Cost Tracking (CBS).
  • Maintain Investment Projects SharePoint sites.

About YOU

  • Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (essential).
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated project or general administration experience is highly regarded.
  • Intermediate level skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
  • Well-developed self-management skills and demonstrated ability to work with own initiative to deliver outputs to time, quality and cost.
  • Currently undertaking or have a relevant tertiary qualification (minimum Cert IV level, Engineering, Commercial or Project Management) desirable.
  • Demonstrated schedule experience OR demonstrated cost experience is essential.
