Role Description:

You lead and manage a team of Project Control professionals, ensuring the delivery of an efficient and effective Project Control service across a complex portfolio of work for multiple customers. In this role, you work closely with Line of Business Contract Owners to agree requirements, manage expectations, and resolve issues. You also lead the rollout of new toolsets and process improvements to enhance delivery capability. Additionally, you are responsible for performance reporting, Integrated Business Planning, demand and supply resource planning, and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety requirements.

Core Duties:

Essential

  • Significant experience in stakeholder leadership, team leadership and team management
  • Extensive Project Control knowledge and experience, including Earned Value Management, scheduling and change control
  • Ability to manage a complex portfolio of work, with a number of priorities at any given time
  • Detailed knowledge of performance reporting, Integrated Business Planning, demand/supply resource planning and Health & Safety

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Engineering programmes

The Team:

The Design, Development, Test & Evaluation (DDT&E) organisation is a 2,400+ strong engineering team delivering projects across multiple aircraft platforms, including Typhoon, Tornado, Hawk, F-35, FalconWorks and FCAS, supported by five Centres of Excellence and a central operations team.
