About the OPPORTUNITY

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Practitioner Project Manager to join the Program Delivery Office Performance Team at Osborne Shipyard, South Australia.

Reporting to the Program Performance Manager, this role will be part of the team responsible for generating timely and accurate reporting to senior leadership. Accurate reporting informs strategic decision making and consequently this team, and the role it plays, are an integral part in driving project success.

The role will be responsible for generating timely and accurate reports which provide insights into current program performance. Through key stakeholder engagement the position holder will be integral to the further development of reporting priorities and key performance indicators, with an emphasis on supporting focused leadership decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to interact and support the senior leadership team by generating accurate reporting for decision making

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accountable for generating timely and accurate reporting to senior leadership.
  • Proactively deliver core drumbeat reporting cycles, consolidating and analysing multi-source reports.
  • Provide accurate insights by identifying key themes and trends to senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies with CAMs, SCAMs and IPT leads, strengthening data integrity and reliability.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the reporting hierarchy by reducing duplication and decreasing manual effort and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Partner with program stakeholders to determine reporting priorities and enhance program-wide visibility of key performance indicators, tracking of inputs and reporting timelines, supporting focused leadership decision-making.
  • Lead action tracking in Jira and maintain clear, consistent process and governance documentation in Confluence.
  • Attend and participate in project review meetings
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team, proactively collaborate with stakeholders.

About YOU

  • Demonstrated experience in a project, reporting or business management role
  • Demonstrated experience in the planning and delivery of discrete project outcomes within a low complexity project environment
  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and management skills
  • High level writing and presentation skills that extend to clear and accurate reports appropriate for a management audience
  • Experience co-ordinating cross-functional teams
  • Dashboard Development (PowerBI, Tableau) (Desired, not essential)
  • Proven contemporary knowledge and expertise in the use of Business Intelligence tools and techniques to analyse, interpret and present data in a range of formats and forums to address business needs (Desired, not essential)
