Job Description

Job Title: Senior Service Integration and Change Manager

Location: Portsmouth Naval Base

Salary: Up to £82,000 (dependent on skills and experience) + 12.5% Bonus and Car Allowance

What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive and manage change initiatives linked to service integration, tools, methodologies and process improvements, ensuring effective adoption across projects, programmes and stakeholders
  • Operates in a strategic capacity, delivering outputs that can impact the wider business and senior stakeholders
  • Will liaise with other business functions to ensure the delivery of progress and performance information for the project
  • Has extensive knowledge and understanding of Projects/ Programmes/ Portfolios and the Business
  • Has extensive experience demonstrated in a professional role within a business or project/ programme/ portfolio
  • Has extensive knowledge of a range of PM&C methodologies and toolsets
  • Will have significant knowledge & experience of influencing internal and external stakeholders
  • Will have a strong ability to capture, evaluate and share good practice

Your skills and experiences:

  • Degree level education or professional qualifications gained through industry
  • Professional PM Qualification or extensive practical experience gained through application of Project Management
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor project controls and service integration professionals, strengthening capability and best‑practice delivery
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to problems, identifying, adopting and tailoring good practice as appropriate
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of both project and the wider business environment

The Asset Management Leadership team:

In Warship Support/Asset management, we sustain the Royal Navy’s surface fleet from HM Naval Base Portsmouth, from platform maintenance and system upgrades to deployed operational support, we work alongside the Royal Navy to ensure fleet availability and mission readiness. Our work ranges from routine dockyard tasks to complex engineering enhancements, keeping everything from T45 Destroyers to Type 23 Frigates and Aircraft Carriers modern, effective, and ready for operations

This is a highly visible role working closely with an onsite customer every day, offering a real opportunity to see and feel the direct impact of your work and contribute to something of national importance. The role provides exceptional development, building skills in running complex businesses, managing high‑value contracts and leading significant change programmes, with opportunities to influence at scale and work internationally
