Job Title: Senior Mechanical Systems Digital Engineering
Location: Warton, Brough, Filton, Prestwick– We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £47638 – £52426 – depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
· Collaborating with a community of engineers to understand the relationships between interfacing systems/platforms
· Developing strategies to use modelling to optimize verification, validation, demonstrations, and trial activity
· Identifying solutions and options that deliver at a platform (sometimes a multi-platform) level
· Guiding and influencing a diverse and highly skilled community of specialist engineers and team leaders
Your skills and experience:
· Degree educated in a STEM discipline or HND/HNC with equivalent experience
· Stakeholder engagement, including suppliers, Task ownership and planning
· Mechanical systems knowledge and expertise – Aircraft Product systems is preferred or near neighbour industries considered
· Model Based Systems Engineering experience (SYSML, MATLAB, Simulink, Cameo – requirements toolsets )

The Flight Sciences’ Capability team:
Within the Digital Engineering Programme, the Flight Sciences’ Capability Team, we ensure that the needs of all engineers within Flight Sciences area (which includes Flight Systems and Aerodynamics) are captured, trialed, tested and implemented in time to meet the deliverables of programmes across the Air sector, both now and into the future.
