Job Description
Job title: Investment Projects Delivery Manager (Construction)

Salary: £63,900+ dependant on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Management of in-house FM Investment Delivery engineers required to deliver the Capital, Revenue and Direct to Contract facilities and infrastructure investments
- Responsible for compliance with the necessary SHE arrangements associated with the planning, design, construction and handover of facilities and infrastructure, to ensure a safe and compliant delivery
- Responsible for compliance with the necessary security and export control protocols at a commensurate level associated with the planning, design, construction and handover of the facilities and infrastructure to ensure a secure and compliant delivery
- Responsible for supporting the competitive commercial/procurement process in regards supplier selection and leading the day-to-day performance management and monitoring of any appointed Bought Out Service or Contractors
- Responsible for the detailed estates planning, development and delivery of the design and engineering solutions for the investment, in line with Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Plan of work, and compliance of those designs with internal standards and requirements, including compliance with the corporate Engineering policy and the successful application of LCM reviews and process
- Responsible for the timely costing, business case and contract funding application, subsequent budgeting, cost control and spend profile achievement (direct labour and non-labour) on their portfolio
Your skills and experiences:
- Degree or HNC/D qualified in Construction or Building Services is ideal, however other disciplines and experience within the Built Environment may be considered (e.g., Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Construction Project Management, Building Services, Energy and Sustainability, Construction Development Management, Real Estate Planning and Master Planning etc)
- Relevant qualifications or significant experience in managing contractor activities and ensuring construction Health & Safety (NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH, specific safety topic training)
- Experience of managing a team including contractors and professional teams
- Chartered Membership of a Professional Body

The team:
In this role you will take the Facilities Management Delivery Lead for distinct packages of works to support a once in a generation investment programme. This role will cover a number of significant site upgrade programmes and customer funded investment in support of new aircraft platforms.
Not only will you plan, design, procure, deliver and handover the Buildings and Infrastructure, you will also be responsible for the integration of manufacturing and test plant & equipment into these bespoke manufacturing facilities.
