Job Description

Job title: Integrated Logistics Support Manager

Location: Cowes – Isle of Wight – Part time & accruing hours available. Please let us know if you would like to discuss these options

Salary: Up to £65,000 plus bonus, (dependent on skills and experience)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the Radar ILS and Technical Publications functions, overseeing a team of radar ILS engineers and radar technical authors, ensuring effective resource capability planning, managing resource supply and demand, team development, and annual performance management

  • Act as the focal point for all ILS-related activities, providing ILS technical solutions across a variety of projects (development and in-service support) as well as acting as ILS lead in complex bid / proposals when required

  • Collaborate closely with Programme Managers to ensure ILS Service Level Agreements agreements are met and that the ILS team provides timely and effective support across multiple projects

  • Ensure ILS team maintain export control service provision to projects where required

  • Support customer meetings for in-service support contracts when required, representing the business needs

  • Oversee performance monitoring of in-service support solutions, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved and continuous improvement is embedded

  • Drive ILS and support solution strategy for bids, including cost modelling, proposal development, and the creation of ILS/CLS plans to meet customer and programme requirements

  • Be familiar with Industry Standard ILS Modelling tools (e.g. OPUS)

  • Be responsible for document management SharePoint sites (Radar ILS, raining, and Tech Pubs) ensuring compliance with business processes

  • Ensure compliance with all Radar BMS processes related to ILS, Techncal Publications, and Training, maintaining governance and documentation accuracy across the discipline

Your skills and experiences:

  • Extensive experience delivering Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) solutions to the UK MOD

  • Strong understanding of ILS standards, processes and tools (e.g. OPUS)

  • Proven ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders across complex programmes

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence, facilitate change, and build collaborative relationships

  • Demonstrated ability to operate under pressure in fast-paced bid and delivery environments

  • Experience working independently within commercial organisations delivering complex technical solutions

The Radar integrated logistics support team:

As a part of this team, you will act as the central point of contact for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), and Technical Publications, applying deep specialist knowledge and analytical expertise across all support disciplines to ensure the successful bidding, development, implementation, and delivery of Integrated Product Support (IPS) solutions. We lead and develop all ILS and support solution aspects of bids, including the creation of ILS/CLS cost estimates, the review and approval of Training and Technical Publications estimates, and the preparation of detailed proposals and ILS plans for phase reviews
