Role description

Within the Radiation Physics and Shielding function, you will support the design and development of radiation shielding systems that meet submarine build requirements and help protect personnel. • Perform data analysis of simulation outputs to determine radiological impact of shield design or submarine design changes.
  • Produce clear documentation such as working files, system design documentation, technical memorandums and reports.
  • Perform calculations and analysis to support advice given to other departments and stakeholders.
