Salary: Circa £62,000 Dependent on skills & experience

Job Description:

Working for the Head of Technology (Munition), the Engineering Manager (NGx) is accountable for the technical Engineering aspects of their respective Munitions’ Programmes.

Core duties:

• Ensure that compliance with safety requirements remains the highest priority in the products and processes that are developed and delivered within the relevant Programmes
• Responsible for the effective application of Design Reviews throughout the Engineering lifecycle and to ensure the necessary independent governance is applied
• Approval and regular reviews of the Engineering aspects of the projects through appropriate reviews
• Responsible for all technical aspects of the relevant programmes
• Application of technical goodness

Essential Skills:

• Degree qualified Chemical Engineer or Chemist (BEng/MEng) with experience in design and operation
• Experience in chemical process design through the entire project lifecycle
• Experienced with concept, basic, and detailed design of a chemical plant
• Experience of process hazard assessments and other technical risk assessments

Technology Delivery Team:

The Engineering Manager (NGx) will ensure the integrity and acceptance of the relevant design solution throughout the product lifecycle. This role provides the technical leadership on all Engineering aspects of the relevant programmes.
