Role Description:
Working across Advanced Aerostructures engineering teams, the role ensures compliance obligations are met by defining required data, maintaining digital audit trails, and coordinating actions with stakeholders. Responsibilities include governance, assurance, product safety, SHE communication, quality management, capability development, continuous improvement, cost reporting, export control, and engineering administration. The individual will support the Centre of Excellence within the DDT&E Service Delivery Unit, lead and develop a team including Early Careers, and manage information using ETMS toolsets such as Jira, Confluence, and Tableau, ensuring efficient, effective, and transparent delivery aligned with organisational standards and audit requirements.overall..
Core Duties:
Essential:
- Experience and understanding of highly regulated industry, preferably Engineering or Manufacturing.
- Experience of any of the following;
- Quality assurance
- Capability management
- Governance
- Product safety compliance
- Capability management/development
- Ms office experience
- Qualified to degree level in a STEM or Business-related subject or suitable equivalent industry experience
- People management/people development experience
The Team:
Opportunity to lead the Advanced Aerostructures Operations and Governance Team, reporting to the Integration and Operations Lead. The role involves supporting delivery activities, representing leadership at reviews, and taking ownership of engineering support tasks on behalf of team leads.
