Job Location: Preferred locations is Mawson Lakes, SA however this role can also be located from our Osborne Naval Shipyard, SA.

Role Description:
As Project Planning & Controls Manager, you’ll report to the Head of PMO and own the CSI-IPT Enterprise Earned Value Management System (EVMS). You’ll lead the application and improvement of EVM across our portfolio, ensuring consistency, compliance, and excellence.
Core Duties:
- Champion and lead Project Planning & Controls across the CSI-IPT Enterprise.
- Maintain, audit, and drive the Enterprise EVMS and EVM Plan.
- Lead a 7-person PP&C team and encourage continuous improvement.
- Deliver monthly EVM reports, supporting program governance and stakeholder engagement.
- Interface with industry partners to align tools and practices.
- Build trusted relationships across Defence and Industry.
- Support and lead internal/external reviews and governance activities.
Essential Skills:
- Experience as a Senior Project Planning & Controls or have EVM leadership experience in complex defence, aerospace, or engineering settings.
- Track record managing controls for large-scale programs (DDG/HCF highly desirable).
- Deep technical knowledge of EVM (SPI/CPI, TCPI, Variance Analysis).
- Expert in scheduling and cost tools (OPP).
- Team leadership experience (5+years).
- Collaborative mindset with experience in Alliances/IPTs/Managing Contractor contracts.
- Emotional intelligence bridging technical detail and executive decision-making.
- Proactive driver with attention to detail and trend analysis skills.
- Ability to maintain rigorous reporting and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Ability to obtain Australian Defence security clearance of Baseline is required
