Responsibilities

· The job holder is responsible for advising and assisting the Training Wing staff in all matters related to computer systems, programming languages, and networking. The Computer Systems Specialist will utilize the Instructional Systems Development (ISD) process to develop courses using the systems approach. They will also conduct training in Computer Systems and Networking, ensuring effective implementation and efficient course delivery.

· Advise on computer systems and networks, including troubleshooting and optimization.

· Develop and deliver training programs in computer systems and networking.

· Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations and company policies.

· Continuously improve the quality of training and systems support.

· Ensure systems and processes meet agreed timelines and standards.

· Manage resources effectively to meet user and organizational needs.

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

· Minimum five years of practical experience in computer systems and networking.

· Extensive knowledge of dBase programming, networking, and network security.

· Proficient in programming languages including JAVA, C++, SQL, and ASP.NET.

· Advanced skills in designing and delivering training programs.

· Good communication skills, able to interact with staff at all levels.
