About the OPPORTUNITY
We have a new opportunity for a Asset Performance Analyst – Condition Monitoring to join our Maritime Australia business on the Hunter Class Frigate Program (HCFP). Reporting to the Condition Monitoring Lead, you will be employed on a permanent full time basis, based at either Osborne Adelaide or Melbourne CBD locations. There is also the flexibility for the position to be performed at other interstate locations.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, including working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.
BAE Systems Maritime Australia (formerly known as ASC Shipbuilding), has been contracted to design and deliver the world’s most advanced anti-submarine warfare frigates to the Royal Australian Navy. The Hunter Class Frigate Program (HCFP) will create and sustain more than 5,000 jobs across BAE Systems and the wider Australian Defence supply chain over the life of the program.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform a range of condition monitoring/asset performance analyst activities
- Assist in the development and integration of the condition monitoring/asset performance solution for the naval ship
- Collaborate effectively and build good relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a positive culture
- Liaise with the Logistics Engineering Analysis and design engineering teams, providing advice and support on the application of Condition Monitoring and Support System techniques to ensure Support design philosophies are embedded in design
- Co-ordinate the incorporation of condition monitoring equipment into platform and system designs
About YOU
- Asset Performance Analyst experience, or Condition Monitoring Analyst experience, or Technician experience
- Relevant experience in a technical or production environment
- A trade or an engineering qualification or maritime technical experience
- Strong computer skills, (specifically Microsoft Word and Excel), the ability to analyse technical data and provide sound recommendations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
