Job Description:
You’ll join a fast-paced and highly collaborative team delivering innovative weapons integration solutions that enhance Typhoon’s operational capability and export competitiveness. Working across international partnerships with BAE Systems Inc and the UK MoD, you’ll contribute to agile integration projects focused on delivering low-cost, ready-to-field counter UAS capability using modern engineering approaches and rapid delivery methods.
This role offers exposure to advanced combat air programmes, open data-sharing environments and accelerated capability development. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support rapid strategy-making, integration activities and programme delivery, while gaining valuable experience within a pioneering environment shaping future combat air capability across the wider BAE Systems portfolio.
Core duties:
- Overseeing day-to-day programme delivery activities, supporting rapid integration of APKWS capability across Typhoon fleets
- Coordinating international stakeholders, aligning programme activities across customers, partners and multidisciplinary delivery teams
- Governing programme performance, monitoring cost, schedule and capability milestones to support successful delivery outcomes
- Supporting commercial and contract activities, contributing to negotiations and value-focused programme delivery agreements
- Building good customer and partner relationships, ensuring effective communication across highly detailed multinational programme environments
Essential Skills:
- Demonstratable experience delivering multi-layered integration programmes, meeting cost, schedule and performance commitments within regulated environments
- Considerable programme delivery capabilities, with understanding of weapons integration engineering and delivery values
- Experience coordinating budgets, forecasts and senior-level reporting across multi-faceted programme or project environments
- Ample stakeholder engagement skills, collaborating effectively with customers, suppliers and multidisciplinary international teams
- Experience overseeing virtual Integrated Programme Teams, coordinating delivery activities across multiple organisations and functions
The Air Procurement Team:
Working at the forefront of agile weapons integration, this function delivers innovative counter UAS capability that enhances Typhoon operational effectiveness and export competitiveness. Through rapid integration approaches, international collaboration and advanced engineering delivery, it is helping shape faster, more adaptable combat air capability across future defence programmes.
