Role Description:

We have a great opportunity for an Accounting Manager to join our Central Functions Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you’ll be part of a collaborative team, playing a key role in ensuring financial integrity, supporting decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across our Corporate cost centres.

Core Duties:

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Consolidating and reporting of Central cost centre results and shaping the narrative around business performance
• Identifying and tracking business risks and opportunities with a financial impact

Business Partnering

• Working with stakeholders to coordinate, improve, and constructively challenge inputs into financial forecasts
• The critical review of financial budgets and forecasts
• Providing key senior finance stakeholders with actionable insights

Compliance & Risk

• Ensuring adherence to accounting standards, legislation, and corporate policies

Process Improvement

• Driving efficiencies in reporting, forecasting, and project finance processes
• Contributing to ongoing improvements across the finance function

About You:

• Degree qualification as well as professional CA, CIMA or CPA qualification
• People with a growth mindset and natural curiosity to understanding the business beyond the spreadsheets
• Aptitude for critical thinking, storytelling and attention to detail
• Ability to obtain and maintain Australian Government Security Clearance
