• Communication master: Impress us with your clear and engaging communication skills

• Self-starter: Be able to manage your time and competing priorities effectively
• Fresh degree power: Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree completed within the last two years.
• Ready to roll: Be available to start full-time work in February 2027.

Please note, as a defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain one. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.

Role Description

Ignite your career by driving the commercial success of Australia’s most advanced defence projects. You’ll master the art of navigating complex business landscapes, identifying strategic opportunities, and ensuring the long-term profitability of our global ventures. You will:

• Build Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate high-impact relationships between BAE Systems and our key customers.
• Drive Profitability: Work across operational teams to help win new business and execute profitable contracts.
• Master Commercial Acumen: Develop a deep understanding of business strategy and commercial management.
• Draft Key Agreements: Assist in creating essential documentation, including confidentiality agreements and commercial management plans.
• Manage Risk: Support the identification of contract risks and opportunities to safeguard our business.
• Navigate Global Regulations: Ensure compliance with vital international import, export, and ITAR regulations.
