Role - Senior Videographer & Editor

As part of the ASOS Creative Studio team, you’ll be at the heart of bringing our brand to life through bold, high-quality, and trend-led video content, including PDP videos. Working alongside a talented and collaborative team, you’ll contribute to a diverse mix of projects - from eye-catching campaigns to scroll-stopping social content, using techniques such as high-end video spec cameras, mobile shooting, and creative editing. You’ll craft innovative content that blends creativity with commercial thinking, delivering the most inspiring e-commerce, creative, and social assets in the industry for our 20-something customer. With a creative, strategic, and hands-on approach, you’ll help shape the future of ASOS’s visual storytelling.

As a Senior, you will work on brief led projects creating fresh, impactful video content across creative shoots, campaigns, social, and PDP that connects with our customer, whilst driving the delivery of standout video content, mentoring the team and elevating creativity across every project.

Team Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality, creative, and consistent video content across PDP, campaigns, homepage, and social platforms.
  • Collaborate with the ASOS Creative Studio, Photography, and wider teams to maintain a consistent visual identity across all content.
  • Contribute to creative direction on set, ensuring energy, authenticity, and alignment with the ASOS aesthetic.
  • Use a range of equipment and techniques, including high-end video spec cameras, mobile shooting, lighting setups, and creative editing.
  • Maintain studio and equipment readiness, ensuring spaces are organized and production ready.
  • Support the development of new processes, workflows, and techniques that improve efficiency and creative quality.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, bringing fresh ideas, innovative tools, and techniques into the team.
  • Build positive relationships with internal departments and external partners to elevate creative output.
  • Provide and receive constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, solution-focused environment that supports team development and creative excellence.

What You’ll be doing…

  • Lead the delivery of complex or high-profile video projects, ensuring creative excellence and brand consistency.
  • Often working across multiple studios and shoot locations, adapting your expertise to a variety of creative environments
  • Fully proficient in editing all PDP videos, to support the team and ensure alignment with business KPIs and performance targets
  • Hold routine one-to-one sessions with direct reports to support growth, enhance skills, and review competencies
  • Mentor and guide midweight and junior team members in technical skills, editing, and creative execution.
  • Oversee model direction on set, ensuring authentic, trend-led, and engaging performance.
  • Develop and refine production workflows for efficiency and scalability.
  • Oversee daily PDP video editing operations, ensuring targets are achieved and team performance meets expected standards
  • Assist the team and video manager with scheduling resource for all projects
  • Collaborate with photography and design leads to align creative direction and maintain a cohesive brand identity.
  • Introduce and implement new creative techniques, tools, and approaches that enhance output.
  • Provide expert feedback on shoots and edits to uphold high creative standards.
  • Act as a key point of contact for cross-department collaboration on video content.

Skills & Experience

  • Advanced technical expertise in high-end video production and creative Capture/editing. (Davinci, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar)
  • Strong creative vision and ability to shoot and lead complex projects from concept to delivery.
  • Skilled in model direction, coaching talent for energy, authenticity, and engagement.
  • Ability to mentor junior and midweight team members, fostering skill growth.
  • Strong collaboration skills with other creative disciplines to ensure brand consistency.
  • Proven ability to innovate and introduce new techniques, tools, and approaches.
  • Highly organised with experience optimising workflows for efficiency.

AI & Innovation Responsibilities

  • Assist Managers building the AI Content Strategy for video: where AI augments ideation, production, post‑production, repurposing, and personalisation—always with clear guardrails.
  • Evaluate, pilot, and implement AI‑enabled tools (e.g., auto‑editing and rough cuts, shot selection, smart captions/subtitles, audio clean‑up, colour matching, upscaling, background clean, text‑to‑motion graphics, generative VFX) to improve speed and consistency.
  • Upskill and learn AI tools and workflows.
  • Drive AI experimentation
