Purpose

The purpose of this role is to perform troubleshooting and repair services for refrigerated containers. Responsibilities include repairing any malfunctioning reefer units on vessels and in the yard, as well as conducting the Pre-Trip Inspection (PTI) process as requested by customers for reefer containers.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for the distribution and collection of tools and spare parts that are used in both PTI and FULL.
• Directly responsible for the communication with reefer attendants, to obtain the reports of the damaged in the yard,
• Provide the evidence requested by the manufacturing company (Photos, Videos, Comments, Download) upon any repair.
• It must provide solutions to the malfunctioning units that arise, either on VSL or Yard,
• Ensure the quality of machinery repairs.
• Must possess high knowledge to make recommendations in repair procedures as appropriate and according to the quality specifications of the manufacturing company.
• Responsible for the control of the rest times of the reefer attendants.
• Provide support in another additional function required in relation to the operational area at the request of the direct report.

Who we are looking for

• High school baccalaureate or a technician title
• Experience of at least 3 years as reefer attendant or 3 years as reefer technician.
• Proven experience in dealing with customs clearance processes, port formalities or trucking activities in/with the port complex of Tangier Med
