  • Ensure all engagement activity is transparent, fair, and compliant with the Procurement Act 2023.
  • Oversee the supplier engagement portal, ensuring a compliant and user-friendly interface for all pre-tender interactions.
  • Act as the senior interface between the market and the Reservoir Programme’s leadership, technical, commercial, and procurement teams.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing supplier engagement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Champion Anglian Water’s sustainability, ESG, and social value commitments, maintaining full compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive a culture of health and safety excellence, supporting a zero-accident environment.

About You

  • Extensive experience in market engagement, supply-chain strategy, or procurement within infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of the Procurement Act 2023 and regulated procurement environments.
  • Proven leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrable experience in market intelligence, supply-chain mapping, and risk analysis.
  • Strategic thinking, exceptional communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • CIPS, RICS, or equivalent professional membership (desirable).
  • Experience in the water, utilities, or regulated infrastructure sectors (desirable).
  • Experience with supplier portals, digital engagement platforms, or SRM systems (desirable).

As a valued employee, you’ll be entitled to:

  • Personal private health care
  • Life assurance (up to 8 x salary)
  • Personal accident cover (up to 5 x salary)
