Seasonal Watersports Assistants needed for Spring/Summer 2026

0 Hour Contract / £12.60 per hour / Living Wage Employer

Rutland Water Park is the perfect place to enjoy time outdoors, acres of beautiful countryside where school groups and the general public can enjoy activities ranging from mini golf, a beach, a 23-mile cycling/walking trail, exciting watersports and various events.

Our visitors can hire sailing boats, rowing boats, and kayaks, they can take part in raft building and learn sailing, windsurfing and paddlesports. As a member of our Watersports Team you will support across the various areas, such as assisting with bookings, working on reception, cleaning, providing wet suits and hire equipment.

You will be providing a high level of customer service to our many visitors, making their day enjoyable by assisting them with knowledge of our products, promotion of our services and ensuring a clean and safe environment. We are looking for committed and keen people as you will need to help in various areas of the Watersports centre and across the wider Water Park.

What will you be doing?

  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of our parks

  • Support Park visitors with information and assistance

  • Assist in setting up and managing events.

What does it take to be a Watersports Park Assistant ?

  • Valid watersports qualification/ experience desirable

  • Excellent customer service skills especially in a retail or an outdoor environment

  • Excellent communication and social skills

  • Ability to be flexible and have the willingness to learn

  • Ability to work weekdays/weekends, school holidays

  • Show enthusiasm about our parks and share enthusiasm with customers.

  • Provide excellent instruction for all ages and skill levels

  • Ensure safety standards are met at all times
