We are recruiting for a DS Connections Support Advisor based in Lincoln, to support the Developer Services Connections Manager in providing a comprehensive and seamless service to our customers.

What you’ll be doing:

Don’t panic if you haven’t worked within the Water Industry before, we will put you through all the training you will need to delight our customers and progress your career should you wish too!

In this varied role, You’ll be the first point of contact, the voice and ears of Anglian Water for our customers who require a connection to Anglian Water’s existing water infrastructure.

You will be based in our busy open plan office, full of likeminded people. We hold regular fun incentives (points mean prizes!), wellbeing events and regular learning workshops too!

You’ll handle customer calls, investigating and processing email and postal enquiries based on customer or departmental demand. Every call is different; one minute you’ll be helping someone fill in their application, the next you might be helping someone with the final step in the connection to their dream home! You’ll also be responsible for liaising with Key Stakeholders and contractors to ensure a smooth end to end journey for our customers.

What does it take to be successful?

- Ideally experience of using various IT systems
- Experience in a customer focused and administrative role, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise varying workloads
- Experience of providing excellent customer service and have an empathetic nature which comes naturally to you
- To be a confident communicator at all levels
- Having a commercial interest and understanding of our business will assist you in this role.
