Circa £32,000 - depending on skills and experience

Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours a week

Location: Located anywhere within the Anglian Water Region

What will you be doing?

Reporting to the Maintenance Standards Manager, you will support the development of a proactive maintenance model for Water Recycling non-infrastructure assets and the implementation of plant maintenance standards.

You will analyse and improve data relating to equipment, assets and maintenance activities, ensuring data integrity, supporting reporting and helping optimise maintenance processes. Using systems including SAP ECC/S4HANA, Access, Excel, Power BI, telemetry systems and other databases, alongside your understanding of Water Recycling assets and processes, you will identify, analyse and improve the quality of asset and maintenance data to strengthen maintenance standards.

Working with Visualisation and Data Analysts, you will contribute to the creation, evaluation and ongoing review of asset and workforce performance data. This includes supporting the development of performance analysis frameworks and data visualisation tools to generate insights into the performance of Water Recycling treatment, pumping and storage assets, helping assess proactive maintenance strategies and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

You will also provide day-to-day support to the Maintenance Standards Managers, including maintaining POSMAINT and supporting communication around changes to maintenance strategies and standards.

What does it take to be a Data Technician?

· Previous experience in the development and analysis of asset maintenance data sets.

· Previous experience in the development and analysis of data sets.

· Previous experience of SAP or other maintenance systems

· Knowledge of different database structures and different data analysis techniques.

· Good professional safety standards.

· Good communication skills.

· Fluent in spoken and written English.

· Able to provide feedback and guidance to colleagues.

· Competent in the use of IT tools e.g. MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, and MS Visio.

· Understanding of MS Power BI, MS PowerPoint and MS Planner
