In Airbus Defense and Space Connected Intelligence, we serve commercial and governmental customers providing secure connectivity. We ensure that mission- and business-critical communication run safely, securely and efficiently: From radio to broadband and mobile on land, at sea and in the air.

One of our pillars is to provide end-to-end secure satellite for military customers. One of the main elements is the SATCOM (Satellites Communication) Systems onboarded in the air platforms (Airplanes, drones and helicopters). In the Military Aero Connectivity department, we are in charge to develop the best cost-effective solutions to provide this capacity to all Airbus Military Aerial Platforms.

MISSION

The Project Management Officer acts as project management business partner, i.e. partnership the Programme Manager on a day to day basis

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guides the Project Team in terms of programme management
  • Integrates and analyses time, cost, resources and quality data
  • Manages risks and opportunities
  • Raises the understanding and acceptance of project management processes within the project by coaching and/or awareness sessions
  • Supports efficient communication and stakeholder management
  • Performs follow up (e.g. milestones/quality gates/drumbeats) and reporting for the different phases

SKILLS

We are looking for graduated students in Engineering (Aerospace, Electronics, Communication Systems, SW, Mechanics). Other university degrees such as business and administration could be considered.

  • Use of MS Office applications
  • Self-motivation
  • Open to work in multicultural-multinational environments

Madrid and the Comunidad Autonoma are a diverse place in Spain in terms of cultural events and activities in the nature such as hiking in the North West Mountains (known as Sierra de Madrid). International diversity is also one of the characteristics of this region of Spain.

Madrid is also very close to other historical cities in Spain, such as Toledo, Segovia and San Lorenzo de El Escorial. And you can be on the beach in 2 hours by train.
