We are seeking a skilled SAP Basis Consultant with 4 to 7 years of experience to join our data provisioning team. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in SAP HANA platform administration and possess deep, hands-on experience in data provisioning and replication technologies, specifically SAP SLT, SDI, and SDA.
You will be responsible for ensuring the health, performance, and integration of our complex SAP landscape, serving as the bridge between multiple applications and data-driven business insights.

Qualification & Experience:

  • 4+ years in SAP BASIS and Data Integration tools like SLT, SDA & SDI.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Architecting real-time SLT replication with custom ABAP transformation rules and latency tuning.
  • Deploying DP Agents and designing Flowgraphs for ETL and external data ingestion.
  • Configuring remote sources for data virtualization and federated querying across heterogeneous databases.
  • Expert-level troubleshooting of HANA memory, CPU bottlenecks, Hana Role management and SQL optimization.
  • Implementing HANA security roles, SSL encryption for data pipelines and maintaining technical SOPs.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Expertise: SAP BASIS, SAP HANA, SLT, SDI, SDA,
  • Tools: HANA Cockpit, Hana studio, WebIDE, DP Agent.
  • Traits: Strong analytical troubleshooting and the ability to mentor junior staff.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Core Basis & HANA Administration

  • Landscape Management: Perform end-to-end SAP Basis administration, including support for the system copies, fine tuning and strong troubleshooting skills in SLT.
  • HANA Governance: Manage SAP HANA databases including administration, HANA role management and performance tuning using HANA Cockpit and Studio.
  • Maintenance: Manage and work on the Transport Management System (TMS) and CTS+.

2. Advanced Data Integration (Must-Have Skills)

  • SAP SLT (System Landscape Transformation): Architect and configure real-time data replication from SAP and Non-SAP sources to HANA. Handle troubleshooting of trigger-based replication, Subscription based, latency issues, and table mapping.
  • SAP SDI (Smart Data Integration): Deploy and maintain Data Provisioning (DP) Agents. Create and manage remote sources, adapters, and flowgraphs for complex data transformations.
  • SAP SDA (Smart Data Access): Configure federated data access to external databases, enabling real-time querying without physical data movement.

3. Optimization & Security:

  • Performance Tuning: Monitor system health and identify bottlenecks in both the application layer and the HANA database.
  • Security: Implement SAP security best practices, including HANA user management, role-based access control, SSL encryption for data in transit and Strong knowledge on the firewall concepts.
