Supply Officer

Job Description:

An opportunity for a Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator has arisen within Airbus Operations in Getafe (Madrid) . The selected candidate will join the PIOGO team , acting as the essential link between manufacturing units, supply chain stakeholders, and programs . In this role, you will play a key part in placing purchase orders, maintaining material flows, and managing supplier inventory to directly support assembly lines and customer support needs .

RESPONSIBILITIES

The main tasks of the jobholder will be:

• Manage Purchasing & Orders: Place purchase orders on behalf of the commodity and maintain full lifecycle order accuracy in the ERP system .
  
• Coordinate Material Delivery: Serve as the operational interface between manufacturing customers, program teams, quality, and physical logistics to ensure parts arrive on time, quality, and cost .
  
• Monitor Performance & Issues: Daily track supply chain performance across receiving, workshops, and shipping while prioritizing urgent requests and resolving disputes .
  
• Drive Corrective Actions: Collaborate directly with suppliers and cross-functional teams to mitigate supply risks and implement corrective/preventive action plans .
  
• Manage Inventory & Flows: Monitor global inventory volumes, control stock levels, and manage bidirectional logistics flows (returned parts, quotes, teardowns) .
  
• Improve Processes & KPIs: Implement and analyze key supply chain KPIs to identify continuous improvement opportunities and maintain supply continuity .

• Education: University degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field .
  
• Experience: Proven experience in Supply Chain Management, ideally within aerospace or industrial manufacturing environments .
  
• Technical Knowledge: Strong command of MRP/ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office .
  
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills with a results-oriented mindset under dynamic pressure .
  
• Languages: Advanced level of English (C1 or equivalent), both written and spoken .
