Description
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Software Engineer - PCP Platform(AWS Cloud) - IaC to join our Aircraft Test and Delivery department based in Bangalore, India.
You will be part of a team developing applications in the scope of an initiative named a collaborative platform supporting “Customer Line” operations and Customer relationship all along the aircraft Acceptance & Delivery process.
This PSL embedding the products used for :
• The activities related to the technical progress of the Production Aircrafts for the activities managed in the delivery center, in the flight line for ALL programs and for ALL Sites:Toulouse / Tianjin / Mobile / Hamburg / Mirabel
• The products and means used to communicate with the customer during the delivery of the aircraft that he is purchasing: Invitations, Orientation during visits in Plant/FAL,Technical Status, Request of Rework, planning dates, ...relying on the data which are managed within other Business Products
• The product & tools used to measure & drumbeat the progress of the Aircraft from end of manufacturing to delivery of the Aircraft: prioritization of Aircraft, Live technical status, escalation of critical Items, allocation/management of teams, efficiency of Actors
• The preparation & execution of the tests of the aircrafts on production Aircrafts: Noise detection, scheduling of flights, preparation of flights

Airbus is looking for a highly skilled PCP Platform Engineer (6-8 Years) with strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to join our platform engineering team in Bangalore, India, to develop/integrate cloud platform infrastructure and automated pipelines. Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field with 6-8 years in IT with a focus on Platform Engineering, DevOps, and Cloud Infrastructure.
• Knowledge of writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK or CloudFormation (Must have).
• Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript for infrastructure automation and scripting (Must have).
• Deep hands-on experience with core AWS Services: Compute (EC2, Lambda), Storage & Security (S3, IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager), Networking (VPC, Route53, API Gateway), and Databases (RDS, DynamoDB).
• Strong notions of security best practices (e.g., IAM Roles, KMS, Secrets Manager, Casbin authorization).
• Experience in CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins (Groovy), Shell scripting, Docker, Artifactory, and GitHub/GitLab management.
• Working experience with qualimetry and security scanning tools across pipelines (SonarQube, Checkmarx, Prisma Cloud).
• Experience in API stack and backend services development/support using Flask, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, and GraphQL (Graphene, Strawberry).
• Basic understanding or working knowledge of frontend frameworks (NodeJS, React, CSS).
• Experience in Platform Run operations: Certificate management, Account/IAM governance, Load Balancing, DNS management, FinOps (Cloud Cost Optimization), and Log Analysis.
• Previous exposure to Airbus ecosystem tools and platform environments: Skywise (Magritte, Ontology, Foundry), API Platform (Connector, Identity, Deploy API), corporate IAM (CorpSSO, OneLogin, Autologon), and enterprise logging using Splunk.
• Past experience with Microservices Architecture, Event-Driven designs, and Serverless approaches.
• Working experience in Agile Scrum, SAFe and/or Kanban projects.
• DevOps orientation with a sense of detail and passion for software, infrastructure automation, and technologies that solve complex problems.
• Ability to challenge the needs of the clients and provide appropriate solutions.
• Curiosity & team player attitude, with a wish to evolve with your team.

Responsibilities:
1. Lead platform infrastructure deployment, automation, and maintenance on AWS using IaC tools (AWS CDK, CloudFormation).
2. Lead and support problem solving and the operational availability of the applications on Airbus Public Cloud Platform.
3. Own incidents, problems, changes, certificates, and account management related to Cloud Services.
4. Developing, updating, and using CI/CD pipelines to allow fully automated deployments of applications and infrastructure across all environments from Development, Q&A, and Production.
5. Ensure qualimetry and security compliance across cloud infrastructure using tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, and Prisma Cloud.
6. Support and integrate backend API platform components (FastAPI, GraphQL, Casbin) and enterprise tools including Airbus Skywise, API Platform, and Splunk.
7. Implement FinOps practices to optimize cloud service spending and utilization.
