Job Description

Job Description:

In order to support the Architecture and Digital Transformation department in Ottobrunn, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

Senior Program Manager Digital Transformation (d/f/m)

Now is a unique moment in history to join Airbus Defence & Space!
The defence industry is facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges in a world that is becoming more complex and less predictable. The ramifications of conflicts around the world stretch all the way to the core of affluent Western democracies, both offline and online. Threats to critical infrastructure, payment systems and mainstream media for instance illustrate the asymmetric nature of many conflicts, requiring better security and protection in cyber-space. Digitalisation will be a backbone of new technologies and services in the defence industry, ensuring seamless flow of information, fast reaction times and flexibility. However, not only will our products become more digital, we as a company need to fundamentally transform into the digital age.

The Architecture and Digital Transformation unit at Airbus Defence & Space is running different Transformation Programs to implement a comprehensive plan for strong harmonization and simplification of our processes, methods, tools and data landscape. We strive for end-to-end data continuity, efficient and effective use of AI and Data as well as ensuring sovereignty and resilience in our digital solutions. This will grant us a great opportunity to strengthen, harmonize and simplify our processes and modernize our ways of working. The digital transformation is up and running and not only a buzz word and consistency of different approaches needs to be ensured.

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.
