Role Summary:
We are looking for a Security Administrator - Tenable to act as a dual-domain expert. In this role, you will be the primary contributor and responsible for the security health of both our traditional IT assets and critical OT Systems. You must possess a good command of the Tenable ecosystem and the technical authority to manage end-to-end vulnerability lifecycles without disrupting industrial uptime or safety.
Qualification & Experience
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Graduate/Post Graduate with 7+ years of experience in IT, Cybersecurity, or an equivalent technical field.
- Proven track record of managing converged IT/OT environments.
- Deep hands-on experience with Tenable OT,Tenable.io/sc along with Nozomi, Claroty(. Ability to resolve complex back-end application issues and manage vendor fixes.
- Demonstrated skill in monitoring PLC logic/firmware, OT concepts and validating industrial protocols (Modbus, DNP3, BACnet, IEC 61850).
- Organised with a proven ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and utilise time effectively in a challenging environment to drumbeat the activity
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, works effectively as a team player for stakeholder management and customer relationships
Tasks & Accountabilities
As the successful candidate your main tasks & accountabilities are:
- Understand Airbus business and process to exchange with the Digital Security Risk & Asset Management department.
- Manage the Tenable OT/IT backend, resolving complex application issues and coordinating vendor-led system fixes.
- Cyber security vulnerability & security compliance Knowledge management
- Execute end-to-end vulnerability lifecycles for IT infrastructure and OT assets like PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.
- Perform deep-packet validation for industrial protocols (Modbus, DNP3, BACnet) while fine-tuning rules to minimize false positives.
- Detect and stop unauthorized PLC logic changes or firmware updates to prevent operational deviations.
- Implement specialized OT passive policies and IT active scans to identify new assets and firmware versions.
- Bridge the gap between assessments and reality by guiding users through mitigation and verifying industrial fixes.
- Total ownership of end-to-end Tenable Inventory and CMDB management and data integrity per Airbus business standards.
- Ensure all security scans align with plant workflows to avoid violations of safety or system availability.
- Translate technical vulnerabilities into business risk for reporting to top management and partners.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between SOC teams, Plant Operators, and other responsible teams.
