Job Title / Role: SCQM (Supply Chain Quality Manager)

Location: Bengaluru , India

Experience Level: 3-7 + years of experience in procurement roles

Brief Description:

Fully integrated in the Procurement organization, General Procurement (GP’s) mission is to procure goods and services on behalf of organization requirement, and as such to play a major role in generating value and contributing to the overall competitiveness of the company.

As a SCQM (Supply Chain Quality Manager), you are a key player in the General Procurement community, working in close collaboration with our buyers and the respective Multi-Functional / Divisional Teams (MFT/MDT) and responsible for:

  • Ensuring suppliers performance on quality, on time to meet Business requirements
  • Ensuring compliance of our GP suppliers to maintain regulation and Airbus requirements
  • Proactively developing suppliers to avoid structural supplier issues, to secure and continuously improve supply chain performance.

The role focuses on implementing Airbus procurement processes, ensuring supplier lifecycle management, and maintaining compliance, governance, and integrity. This is an individual contributor role, reporting directly to the Ho General Procurement (GP) - Airbus, and requires delivering projects within timelines and committed milestones.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

The main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to MFT bringing supply chain & quality voice to define and implement relevant strategy
  • Contribute to supplier selection and contract setup
  • Contribute to supplier contract management and participate to key supplier meetings
  • Ensure supplier compliance with Airbus.
  • Identify and mitigate risks at supplier level and follow up on action plans.
  • Monitor supplier performance (On Time, on Quality) and launch relevant actions
  • Support issues escalated by internal customers to eradicate non quality in a sustainable way.
  • Manage and support supplier recovery
  • Identify development needs and manage improvement projects to secure supplier industrial maturity.
  • Develop cross-functional teamworking and apply practical problem-solving tools.

In addition, you have to support internal and external audits and EASA activities.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes: sourcing, tendering (CFT), supplier onboarding, Supply chain quality & contract management.
  • Expertise in managing multi-commodity procurement activities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong compliance mindset with an ability to enforce governance and risk mitigation processes.
  • Proven project management skills with a focus on timelines and delivery commitments.
  • Highly analytical, results-oriented, and committed to optimizing procurement efficiency.
  • Familiarity with ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Coupa..) and supplier management platforms.
  • Understand Engineering or IT services processes, Agile frameworks exposure would be ideal
  • Act in ethical manner and shows moral courage, openness and honesty in all dealings
  • Assertive, Resilient, Proactive in contributions to the team management
