Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Computer Vision Engineer to join our dynamic team in developing advanced perception systems for robotic applications within the aircraft manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing optimized computer vision algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms encompassing image classification, object detection, semantic segmentation, tracking, and pose estimation using both conventional and deep learning methodologies.
  • Create efficient and real-time convolutional neural network (CNN) models.
  • Utilize deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Caffe, Pytorch for AI model development and OpenCV, eigen,LAPACK, GMTL for the image processing.
  • Engage in rapid prototyping using Python, coupled with coding and debugging skills in C++.
  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective collaboration and clear communication of technical concepts to management and team members.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in computer vision algorithm development.
  • Solid foundation in image processing, neural networks, CNNs, and vision transformer architectures.
  • Expertise in the entire deep learning lifecycle, including data preparation, model engineering, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Experience in developing algorithms for 2D/3D sensors.
  • Proficiency with Deep Learning libraries and algorithms (TensorFlow & Keras, PyTorch, FastAI, U-Net, YOLO >= 5, Mask-R CNN, SAM).
  • Experience with AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS), CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Experience in model quantization, pruning, and knowledge distillation is beneficial.
  • Experience with TensorRT, Deepstream, OpenVino, and TRITON is a plus.
  • Understanding of sensor interfaces and calibration techniques is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Kalman filters, particle filters, clustering techniques is a plus.
