Your mission:

An internship opportunity titled : Retrofit Solutions Jr. Associate SB Designer - Intern has just opened at Airbus India Private Limited located
in Bengaluru. You will join the Airbus Customer Service Engineering & Maintenance unit department in charge of Retrofit solutions.

Your internship will consist in: Retrofit Solutions package to maintain continued aircraft airworthiness and improve customers operations & profitability.

Your work involves creating Airbus Service Bulletins (SBs) for in-service commercial aircraft, specializing in solutions that address both mechanical and

electrical system changes.

Ideally, this is a 6 month internship and it should start in 09-Feb-2026 (date subject to flexibility).

Your main missions will consist of :

• Authoring of Service Bulletin (SB) using Airbus methods and tools.
  
• Define KITs (List of Components) essential for Modification by SB.
  
• Analyze the impacted elements on the Aircraft due to the requested modification.
  
• Identify the Pre-condition / Post-condition on the Aircraft.
  
• Identify the access details to perform the modification/inspection.
  
• Refer Airbus relevant documents and data for the analysis .
  
• Refer and study 3D Data / 2D Drawings to perform the analysis
  
• Creation of Illustrations using draw tools like Tech-Draw.
  
• Execute the activities as per Airbus process/methods/tools.
  
• Deliverables to ensure safety, quality & lead time.

Your Boarding Pass:

You are pursuing technical Under Graduate BE (Mechanical or Aeronautical)

You possess the following competences:

- Technical skills :

• Basic knowledge of Aircraft
  
• Knowledge of Aircraft Systems
  
• Knowledge on reading Engineering Drawings.
  

- Soft Skills :

• Proactive and good team player.
  

- Language skills :

• English : fluent
