In order to support the Automation Team, Airbus Operations is looking for an
Intern - Integration of new technology for the Automation of the Airframe design (d/f/m)

- Start: as soon as possible
- Duration: 3-6 months
Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.
Finkenwerder
Are you wondering how you actually get from university to Airbus? Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university in the morning and at noon. Alternatively, you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then ride your bike for about another 15 minutes to the main entrance.

Your tasks and responsibilities
- Support the analysis of our business and design processes. You will be instrumental in identifying and implementing critical improvements to streamline our workflows, shorten our time-to-market, and drive cost efficiencies across our design activities
- Explore the usage of new IT technologies (e.g. LLM, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Knowledge Graph,...) to the automation until the implementation into demonstrator.
- Contribute to define the skills needed to implement new technologies to ease the spreading into our design offices
- Contribute to the communication campaign to the design offices on the different European sites via AIRBUS tool (google site, etc...), realise return of experience campaign and capture improvements needed to deploy more largely these new technologies.
Desired skills and qualifications
- Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in aerospace/mechanical/Computer engineering or similar field of study.
- Basics of overall aircraft design, basic skills in the area of systems and system integration.
- Knowledge in the application of emerging technology
- Proficiency in English
- German B1/B2 and or French B1/B2 advantage
