We are now looking for a Financial Programme Controller to onboard our GBS.

Responsibilities - your mission

You will join a Finance Controlling team in Airbus Commercial Aircraft that is dedicated to cross programmes and strategic planning activities.

Our Team is :

  • Driving the Financial Performance Management on cross-programme activities : prepare multi-year financial planning and year-end forecast, run sensitivity analysis, elaborate robust business cases, report on financial performance, define and monitor competitiveness plans
  • Anticipating potential deviations & proposing mitigation actions to support decision making at strategic management level
  • Analyzing quantitative and qualitative data on performance against budgets/targets highlighting discrepancies and risks & opportunities (R&O)
  • Contributing to Earned Value Management when required and cash planning
  • Ensuring timely and meaningful planning & reporting - Operational Planning (Annual Budget setting) and financial Forecasting processes (forecasts)
  • Establishing the consolidated financial reporting (define, harmonize and ensure consistency and compliance, incl. tools)
  • Representing Finance in collaboration with stakeholders from across the business
  • Setting the Non Recurring Cost (NRC), Recurring Cost (RC), Inventory processes across the Airbus Commercial Division Controlling teams

Your Key Objectives

  • Produce formatting Non Recurring Cost dossiers and associated communication packs for all Controlling teams
  • Set the Non Recurring Cost financial standards in support to reporting tools and Annual Budget setting and forecasts exercises
  • Capture the lessons learned and produce regular reports highlighting process adherence and data quality
  • Support improvement project deployment through NRC process and application
  • Enable the identification and mitigation of risks (strong focus on robust mitigation actions and Single Points of Failure) and enable the capture of opportunities

Key Tasks & Accountabilities

  • You will prepare the financial tools in adherence with the Non Recurring Cost Finance Roadmap
  • Consolidate the Non Recurring Cost Targets for the entire Airbus Commercial and R&Os, prepare dedicated analysis incl. business drivers
  • Prepare, implement and maintain the entire Non Recurring Cost Finance Process and Planning in the Systems and associated tools
  • Identify and implement improvement measures
  • Prepare ad-hoc Annual Budget setting and forecasts analysis
  • Prepare NRC communication pack to the Finance community
  • You will be a focal point for Finance master data and application in close collaboration with the Financial systems team
  • You will support the cross-program P&L data collection for OP, forecasting, and reporting. Additionally, you will ensure MFB team coordination regarding the associated roadmap and Google files.

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related studies
  • 2-3 years experience within a similar role
  • Finance Controlling competencies
  • Financial tools knowledge and appetite for digitalization
  • Mandatory to have experience with Financial Tools such as SAP, IFRP, SAC, IBM Planning Analytics, Google Workplace (G-sheet, G-slides...)
  • Advanced Data Analysis and critical mindset
  • An attitude and approach being a true business partner
  • Excellent communication skills to animate the international network
  • Team spirit and strong interpersonal skills
  • Rigorous and detail oriented
  • Agility in problem solving
  • High level of autonomy
  • English is a must, knowledge of French / German / Spanish would be a plus
  • The role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly
