Job Description:
In your role as ‘Procurement Business Improvement & Strategy Manager’ you will manage transverse project, compliance or business improvement activities and key strategy initiatives.
Main tasks:
- You will support the strategy team in driving the definition and implementation of the ASA Procurement strategy in collaboration with various stakeholders
- You will support handling the Procurement strategy cycle within ASA Procurement taking into account the overall strategy of Airbus and Airbus Aerostructures and other strategic key drivers
- You will lead or follow-up strategic projects or management initiatives
- You will manage strategy or project related communication and provide active guidance to colleagues (e.g. creation of guidelines, status updates, awareness sessions)
- You will define the way of working with and act as central procurement interface to ASA Procurement internal stakeholders and other functions outside of procurement
- You might deal with the development and implementation of improvement ideas, new processes or digital solutions.
Our ideal candidate will have / be...
- Degree in procurement, supply chain, industrial engineering, business management or a related field
- minimum of 2-3 years of work experience ideally in procurement and/or strategy development or a related field
- strong business, analytical and strategy mindset
- strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to interact effectively with different stakeholders across all hierarchical levels
- proactive and open-minded attitude
- negotiation level in English
- project management skills
- open to occasional travel
