Main Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Strategy & Ownership: Develop and execute the sourcing strategy for your assigned cabin aftersales portfolio. You will move beyond tactical buying to define long-term supplier roadmaps that align with Airbus’s global objectives.
  • End-to-End Sourcing: Participate in Call for Tenders (CFT) and supplier selection process. You will secure the Upgrade and Retrofit conditions and ensure fair competition and full alignment with Airbus Procurement processes, from initial scouting to final contract award.
  • Commercial Leadership: Lead negotiations for cabin upgrades and retrofits. Your focus will be on optimizing price, lead times, and intellectual property rights to deliver maximum value and operational flexibility.
  • Contract Management: Draft, execute, and manage Purchase Agreements specifically tailored to the aftersales environment.
  • Operational Excellence: Act as an extended member of the central Cabin & Cargo Procurement team, ensuring seamless integration between central strategy and local execution.
  • Performance & Claims Management: Liaise with internal stakeholders to monitor supplier KPIs. When necessary, you will lead the resolution of commercial claims and performance recovery plans.
  • Innovation & Digitalization: Contribute to the evolution of procurement by deploying state-of-the-art digital tools and processes (SAP, E-Proc, Airsupply) to drive efficiency.

Requirements: Our Ideal Candidate

Professional Expertise

  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in Procurement, with a proven track record in tendering, contract drafting, and commercial negotiation.
  • Aviation Knowledge: Familiarity with the aerospace aftersales market or cabin interiors is highly advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Technical Tools: Proficiency in Airbus E2E Procurement tools ( SAP, E-Proc, and Airsupply ) and the Google Workspace suite.
  • Languages: Fluency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory. Proficiency in French and/or German is a significant plus.
