An opportunity for an AOS & Performance Management Specialist has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid).
The selected candidate will join the AOS Operational Excellence and Performance department. AOS (Airbus Operating System) is our standardized framework designed to drive continuous improvement and business performance.
Our team acts as the heartbeat of the Getafe Plant, bringing departments together around common goals to ensure a robust flow of products and information. We bridge the gap between strategic objectives (TCO) and operational reality, working closely with the Plant Steering Committee and key stakeholders (Quality, Planning, CDTs) to measure success and implement Lean methodologies that improve our bottom line.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and manage the Plant’s Balanced Scorecard in coordination with the central Performance & Improvement teams to align plant objectives.
- Orchestrate the Governance model, ensuring the measurement of key KPI indicators and linking Operational Excellence initiatives to plant results.
- Lead CVAT (Cost, Value, Added, Time) management, including the harmonization, standardization, and analysis of results alongside the production teams.
- Execute Financial & Operational Planning, supporting OP (Operational Plan) and Forecast preparation, while delivering scenarios and hypotheses for new industrial plans.
- Drumbeat Monthly Performance Reviews, preparing reporting packs (BSC + PDCA + CVAT) and ensuring effective action plans are created for any identified deviations.
- Facilitate AOS & Lean transformation by launching Kaizen workshops, participating in assessments, and co-building Tactical Implementation Plans (TIP) with operational teams.

- Education: Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Proven experience in Operational Excellence, Plant Performance, or Industrial Controlling.
- Soft skills: Strong stakeholder management, dynamic spirit, creativity, and a proactive approach to change management.
- Languages: Fluent level in both English and Spanish.
- Technical knowledge: Strong data management skills using digital tools such as Skywise, SAP, and Qlik.
- Valuable / Nice to have: Deep knowledge of AOS standards, Lean/Six Sigma certification, and experience in cross-functional collaboration within complex manufacturing environments.
